Seems on face value hardly the stuff that dreams are made of, but in actual fact it’s another of those shows Im quite looking forward to doing. For a start I’ve known some of the members there for a good many years, and one things for certain you are assured of a good Yorkshire welcome and even better banter. The show as well is consistently good, and by my reckoning is the last show surviving opening on Friday evening. The link below gives full details.
Come and say hello if you visit the show, blog followers are always welcome for a play with the trainset!
On a non railway related note Wakefield is the home to one of our favourite pubs The Kings Arms at Heath – aka the GLP – Gas Lit Pub. This could well be the scene of some carnage on Saturday night 😉
