Well Perth has come and gone and what a good show it was as. Well organised, friendly club members, an exhibition manager who spends his day floor walking and talking to exhibitors all of the time (as opposed to the self important prats who sit behind a table and let people come to them), culminating on the Saturday coming round with a particularly nice wee dram of Malt. You felt valued, and yes, I’ll willingly take my next layout there again. New Hey performed faultlessly and I even introduced two new motive power items, a Heljan Class 128 Parcels Van and a new Black 5, both converted to EM by the simple expedient of pull the wheels out. The operating crew on this trip was Martin Edmondson, Phil Taylor, Tony Bucknell, Graham Bucknell and Ian Worthington, and its fair to say, we had a great weekend – and heres some snaps of the weekend.
